XProtean is currently seeking a qualified Product Manager at its Milpitas, CA headquarters.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Work with technology team to establish an appropriate software development lifecycle (SDLC), and manage the team using the established SDLC
• Work closely with customers to help define appropriate features for the XProtean product suite
• Define and manage XProtean’s product roadmap.
• Work with management team and technology team to define scope of releases
• Quality control of all levels of project management to ensure company reputation.
• Work with cross functional teams and monitor projects to completion, in time and with available budget.
• Communicate with technology partners and work on integration projects
• Support the sales organization with demonstrations, presentations, training and other necessary collateral to enable successfully selling.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise software product management
• Experience in gathering software product requirements, and converting them into high level requirements documents, detailed requirements, use cases, and functional specifications
• Expertise in project management, especially with multi-location teams
• Experience with Retail Management, Electronic Payment Processing and Point of Sale applications
• Experience with the Microsoft based technology stack
